The ICCE is involved in a new project funded by the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme. This project is aimed at national governing bodies, sports clubs and training institutions in charge of coaches, referees, managers and sport specific language teachers.

Following a successful bid to the May 2014 round of Erasmus+ applications, Leeds Beckett University and ICCE have secured European funding to conduct a project named ‘CoachLearn: Enhancing sport coaches' learning, mobility and employment within the context of a European Sport Coaching Framework’. The project will take place between September 2014 and August 2017.
In the context of collaborative work between Portugal and Cape Verde, a seminar for coach developers took place on 17th and 18th August at Ribeira Grande (Santo Antão Island/Cape Verde).
