Coaches Sport Integrity (C.S.I.) project

The International Council of Coaching Excellence is one of the partners for the Coaches Sport Integrity (C.S.I.) project co-ordinated by the KEA Fair Play Codes Hellas – The project kick-off meeting took place in Athens from the 26th -27th February.

New Erasmus+ project "Intercultural Education through physical activity, coaching and training” (EDU-PACT) is now live!

The International Council of Coaching Excellence is one of the partners for the EDU-PACT project, co-ordinated by the University of -Vienna which aims to improve the quality of pre-service and in-service sport education, in order to prepare PE-teachers and coaches to work with inclusive intercultural education through physical activity and sport. The project will run between January 2018 – December 2020.

NSSU-ICCE Coach Developer programme 2018-2019 - opportunity to apply!

The NSSU-ICCE Coach Developer programme represents a unique professional development opportunity for coach developers from around the world working in national coaching organisations, national and international sport federations and universities.

Blueprint Project Kicks-off, aiming to improve skills and qualifications in the Active Leisure sector

On February 6th and 7th, ICCE joined the kick-off meeting of the Blueprint project led by EuropeActive, which aims at improving the skills and qualifications in the Active Leisure sector – a sector which, broadly speaking, includes fitness and outdoor activities.

Policy makers and grassroots organisations address sport for change at PsyTool final conference

Representatives from the world of sport came together to explore the outcomes of the Erasmus Plus Sport project PsyTool on the role of sport psychology to create positive values and further social inclusion at a conference held on 28 November at Chelsea FC London.

Culture and sports ministers of the European Union: culture must be accessible and coaches valued in society

On 21 November, at a meeting of the Education, Youth, Culture and Sports Council - which focuses on cultural and sports issues - ministers adopted conclusions on promoting access to culture via digital means, and on the role of coaches in society.
