Project CoachLearn Report #1 published: Education frameworks in Europe

Project CoachLearn has now published its first report analysing the state of affairs of coach education in the EU from a look at the existing generic and sport specific education frameworks.

SPEACH Needs Analysis Completed!

The main goal of the Sport Physical Education And Coaching in Health (SPEACH) Project, of which ICCE is a partner, is to increase awareness and behavioural change in sport professionals and European citizens towards an active and healthy lifestyle. The overall objective of the SPEACH project needs analysis was to gather input on the needs and wishes of selected target groups within the field of physical education (PE) and Sport Coaching.

2016-2017 NSSU-ICCE Coach Developer Programme - now open for applications.

The NCDA Coach Developer programme represents a unique professional development opportunity for coach developers from around the world working in national coaching organisations, national and international sport federations and universities. A partnership between Nippon Sport Science University and the ICCE, the programme offers a blended learning experience, including two one-week residentials at NSSU in Tokyo, alongside e-learning and on-line support to aid participants’ application of learning to practice.

SCORE Mentoring Programme gets off to a great start

The first weekend of the SCORE programme took place for mentors in Larnaca Cyprus on 30th-31st January 2016. 22 mentors attended from the UK, Germany, Finland, Croatia, Cyprus, Portugal, Lithunania and Sweden, with the objective of starting a mentoring process within the sport federations and to raise equality in the coaching workforce.
