A Global Coach Conference Selection Committee has rigorously reviewed a number of bids that were received regarding hosting the 2019 ICCE Global Coach Conference. It is with great pleasure that we are now in a position to announce that the 2019 ICCE Global Coach Conference will take place in Japan, hosted by Japan Sport Council.
Coaching Portugal hosted the 6th Coaching Congress of Portuguese Language with the theme “Coaches in the world” on the 3rd and 4th of June 2017 in Gondomar, European City of Sport 2017.

Over 400 coaches attended the first CoachSG coaching conference on May 11 and 12 in Singapore. Guest speakers included ICCE president John Bales, NSSU coach Developer Academy director Masa Ito and ISCJ editor Wade Gilbert. Under the direction of CoachSG director Troy Engle, the conference was the launch of the new CoachSG department within Sport Singapore.

Cohort Three Completes the Nippon Sport Science University Coach Developer Academy (NCDA); Call for Applications for Cohort 4.
Another outstanding class of the NSSU Coach Developer Academy completed their program in Tokyo in February, with ten participants completing all the requirements as an ICCE Trained Coach Developer. Applications for cohort 4, with residential weeks to take place 10-15 September 2017 and 16-23 February 2018, will be open until 5th May 2017.
iCoachKids expert researchers, coach developers and practitioners from Leeds Beckett University, the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE), Netherlands Olympic Committee (NOC*NSF), the Hungarian Coaching Association, Sport Ireland, Lithuanian Sports University, Universidad Europea de Madrid and the Royal Belgian Football Association, travelled to Brussels this week for a successful second partner meeting of the project.
